Printing Solutions for Wash Labels
In the fast-paced world of textile processing, it is essential for dry cleaners to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies. One of the most significant innovations in this field is printing on textile and nylon. This offers versatility in design and branding while providing durable and cost-effective solutions. In this blog, we explore the benefits, technologies, and applications of textile and nylon printing.
Textile Labels for Dry Cleaners
Printing on textile and nylon offers several advantages that are directly relevant to dry cleaners. The durability of these printing methods ensures that the print withstands the many cleaning cycles garments go through in dry cleaners, without any loss of quality. This means that labels, logos, and other markings remain visible for a long time, which is essential for maintaining a professional appearance and customer satisfaction.
Another major advantage is cost-efficiency. By printing directly on textile or nylon, the additional costs for labels and sewing are reduced. This speeds up the process and makes it more economical, ultimately improving profit margins for dry cleaners.
Types of Labels for Printing on Textile
There are various types of textile labels that can be used, especially in dry cleaning:
- Nylon taffeta: A strong and flexible wash label that can be printed on both sides. Washing instructions and other information are printed clearly and sharply on the label, at 300 dpi.
- Polyester satin taffeta: The most flexible and soft wash label in our range, designed for more luxurious textiles. We offer polyester for both household and more aggressive wash cycles. Thanks to the (hot) slit-edge feature, the fraying tendency often associated with this type of wash label is eliminated. This polyester satin version can be printed on one side.
- Extra sterke taffeta: This heavier type of wash label is particularly suitable for workwear and other textiles that require industrial washing, such as overalls, curtains, and even horse blankets! For dry cleaners, this type of wash label is an excellent choice. Even after numerous washes, this type of care label retains its high-quality print. Extra strong taffeta can be printed on one side using a resin ribbon combination. It is available in black and nearly 28 different colored thermal transfer ribbons.
